SP Series Chiller Water Air Cooler
Pre-treatment equipment that uses chilled water to lower the compressed air temperature upstream of a desiccant dryer. A lower inlet temperature increases the moisture adsorption capacity of the desiccant, improving the dew point and reducing regeneration heater power.

The SP series is pre-treatment equipment that uses chiller water (chilled water) to lower the compressed air temperature.
Installed upstream of a desiccant dryer to reduce the inlet temperature, it increases the moisture adsorption capacity of the desiccant, improving the dew point and reducing regeneration heater power.
For activated alumina, comparing inlet temperatures of 40 °C and 20 °C, the adsorption capacity differs by up to 13% (at 7 barG, 100% RH).
In other words, simply cooling the air upstream greatly reduces the load on the desiccant dryer.
