What the Korean market calls KGS certification or KG certification means manufacturing registration for refrigeration units and specified equipment under the High-Pressure Gas Safety Control Act, plus inspection by the Korea Gas Safety Corporation (KGS). GENEQ completed its registrations in 2025 and builds the refrigeration units and pressure vessels of its refrigerated air dryers in-house.

Indirect Refrigerated Air Dryer (SH)

Removes moisture through indirect heat exchange between the compressed air and chilled water (or brine). A stainless steel shell-and-tube heat exchanger keeps dew point variation gentle, with manufacturing and delivery references above 30,000 Nm³/h. Built in-house by a KGS-registered refrigeration unit manufacturer.

Direct-Expansion Refrigerated Air Dryer (SR)

Removes moisture by cooling the compressed air directly as the refrigerant evaporates. Small units use a stainless steel plate heat exchanger with an integrated reheater and evaporator; large units use a stainless steel shell-and-tube design. Energy-saving options include stepless capacity control, EEV and a flooded evaporator. Built in-house by a KGS-registered refrigeration unit manufacturer.

GENEQ designs and builds both direct-expansion (SR) models cooled directly by refrigerant and indirect (SH) models cooled by chilled water.
