Refrigerated Air Dryer
Dryers that cool compressed air with a refrigeration cycle to condense and remove moisture. They reliably deliver dry air with a pressure dew point of 4–10 °C. GENEQ designs and builds both direct-expansion (SR) models cooled directly by refrigerant and indirect (SH) models cooled by chilled water.
Removing moisture by cooling the compressed air
A refrigerated air dryer uses the refrigeration cycle (compression → condensation → expansion → evaporation) to cool compressed air, so that the water vapor it carries is condensed into liquid and removed. As standard it produces dry air with a pressure dew point of 4–10 °C.
With a simple design and no consumables (desiccant or purge air), it is easy to operate and maintain.
A refrigerated dryer suits general processes where the goal is to prevent condensation; a desiccant dryer suits precision processes that need a sub-zero dew point.

In-house design and manufacturing capability
GENEQ applies its own microprocessor controller developed specifically for refrigerated dryers, and holds patents on power-saving technologies such as the electronic expansion valve (EEV) and the PCM and low-temperature condensate utilization system. Our design and manufacturing references range from small units to large capacities above 30,000 Nm³/h, and we also build
combination systems that pair an indirect refrigerated dryer with a desiccant dryer.
